A convention made by those who live the fandom
Patas was born from a simple desire: to create a space where the furry and geek community of Sorocaba and the surrounding region could meet, express themselves, and celebrate their shared culture. A place where you can show up in a fursuit, meet amazing artists, attend panels, play games, chat, and simply be yourself.
The convention brings together fans of anthropomorphic arts, known as furries, artists, fans, and creators passionate about characters that blend human and animal traits. But Patas goes beyond that: it also embraces geek culture in general, uniting under one roof everyone who loves games, anime, manga, cosplay, and all the creativity that only the fandom can produce.
All of this in a hotel convention format, the model established by the world's largest furcons, where the event doesn't end when the sun goes down.

The heart of the event is the people. Folks from all over Brazil who share the same appreciation for art, creativity, and characters. Here you make real friends.
Art & Creation
From the Artroom to the Artist Alley, Patas is a living showcase of talent. Artists exhibit, sell, and create live. You can commission, buy, and get inspired to your heart's content.
Fursuits
The Fursuit Lounge provides structure for those who come in costume. Furparades, photos, and the joy of seeing the work of those who crafted their own character.
Geek Culture
Games, anime, manga, cosplay... Patas embraces it all. If you come from the geek universe, you'll feel just as at home as any veteran furry.
Panels & Activities
Talks, workshops, roundtables, and activities throughout all three days. There's always something going on, and there's always room to participate.
Purpose
Patas is a charity event. Part of our mission is to contribute to organizations in the Sorocaba region. Having fun here is also an act of generosity.

Patas is a charity event. Part of what drives the convention goes directly to social organizations and projects in the Sorocaba region. This means every ticket purchased, every commission closed with an artist in the Artroom, and every participation in activities contributes to something bigger. We believe a community that takes care of itself also takes care of the world around it.
